The World Halal Food Council (WHFC) is an international umbrella association of various Halal certification bodies around the world with the common goal of ensuring the implementation of Sharia regulations, keeping the organization unified and strong, and achieving a unique and global Halal standard. This organization is recognized by MUI Indonesia and was mainly established to coordinate between different Halal certification bodies and the authorities in Indonesia. HQC is the European Administrator of the WHFC in Europe and at the same time one of the founding members of this umbrella association.
