LDC is a French food industry company specializing in the processing and marketing of poultry and the preparation of ready meals made from meat. It buys poultry from breeders through a contract system. The group is one of the European leaders in poultry by volume and notably owns the brands Le Gaulois, Maître Coq, Marie, Traditions d'Asie, Poule et Toque and Nature et Respect.
