Freiland Puten Fahrenzhausen GmbH has been producing organic turkeys since 1997, as well as organic poultry, organic ready meals and organic poultry sausage in accordance with organic farming guidelines. The species-appropriate rearing and free-range husbandry of the turkeys and chickens on around 40 German organic farms, all of which are certified by a recognized farming association, also only receive organic feed. Organic poultry sausage and organic ready meals are available in every well-stocked natural food store, in health food stores or online.
