YAYLA as a food distributor was founded in Datteln in 1979, but the company has grown to its current size in Krefeld, the home of the shareholder family. To this day, YAYLA has its headquarters in Krefeld and provides its 80 employees with a pleasant and close-knit working atmosphere in a modern new building. Today, 40 years after the company was founded in 1979, YAYLA has branches all over the world, from the USA to China and Australia, and a well-developed distribution network. Yayla’s products are all Halal-certified. This way, they can ensure that their food is Halal, meaning it is permissible according to the religious guidelines of Islam and may be consumed. Whether it's meat products, Turkish yoghurt (e.g. our classic süzme yoghurt) or their cheese selection – they only sell Halal-certified food that can be enjoyed with a clear conscience.
